Overview

Join us on this 5-day tour and get the chance to travel to some of Morocco’s major cities. Starting from tangier , where we will pick you up upon arrival, this trip will take you to Chefchaouen , Fez and Maknes , among other places. See the major highlights of all these cities during this trip. From The city tour involves Tangier to Funduq al-Najjariyyin (Najjariyyin Fountain) of Fez and the Saadian Tombs. Also included is a visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, widely regarded as the ancient capital of the kingdom of Mauretania, and Meknes, which has the longest ramparts in Morocco, stretching 40 km. The trip comes to an end in Tangier, where we will drop you off at the airport on the last day of the tour. For more details, please go through the itinerary .

Day 1 :

Arrival - Tangier

- Arrival to Tangier port or Ibn Battouta airport. Welcoming and assistance by Restinga Travel staff.

- Transfer to the hotel.

- Check in, dinner and overnight in hotel 4* Atlas Rif & Spa or similar .

Day 2 :

Tangier – Fes (380 Km)

- Tangier : Departure for the visit of Tangier, The city tour involves Tangier and its surroundings as well as Cap Spartel at the extreme North-West of Africa and Hercules Caves which are associated with the legend of Hercules being the one separated Africa from Europe. The visit includes also the Kasbah district next to the port, the old Medina with its craftsmanship shops and a magnificent minaret overlooking the sea. You will also have the opportunity to pass by the Grand Socco and the Mendoubia Park accommodating dragon skeleton dating from ancient centuries. Lunch (optional) at a local restaurant. Stop 3 hours

- Fez : Afternoon, direct departure to Fes by highway.

- Breakfast : in hotel

- Dinner : dinner in hotel

- Overnight : hotel in Fez 4* Zalagh Palace or similar

Day 3 :

Fez full day visits including monuments

- Fez :The whole day is devoted to the visit of the spiritual capital: the Medieval Medina, Attarine or Bou Anania Medersa, the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum and the Karaouine Mosque (from outside). Typical lunch (optional) in a traditional restaurant in the heart of Medina. Afternoon, visit of the souks and Fez Jdid. Dinner and accommodation at your hotel. Stop: 6 hours - Admission included

Day 4 :

Fes - Meknes – Chefchaouen – Tangier (380 Km)

- Fez : Departure to Meknes

- Meknes : Visit of this city. Stop 60 minutes

- Chefchaouen: Continuation then to Chaouen through Ouazzane. Lunch (optional) on road & departure to Chaouen or Chefchaouen in Berber, is one of the most beautiful cities in Rif the mountainous massif which is the last rampart before the Mediterranean and the Iberian Peninsula. Chefchaouen is known by its Medina of shady alleys, whitewashed houses with blue turquoise doors, wrought iron windows and tile covered roofs. The souks are decorated with their traditionally dressed inhabitants toing and froing in their straw hats. Stop: 2 hours

- Tangier : Continuation to Tangier for dinner & accommodation at the hotel.

- Breakfast : at the hotel

- Dinner : at the hotel

- Overnight : 4* hotel Atlas Rif & Spa or Similar

Day 5 :

Tangier - departure

- Breakfast : at the hotel

- Transfer to Tangier port or Ibn Battouta airport with assistance.
