Departure to Erfoud via the mountains and the cedar woods of the Middle Atlas, passing by Ifrane, a charming ski resort, and Azrou, an important handicraft center. Stop in Midelt for lunch optional. Continuation to Erfoud via Errachidia and the Ziz valley, dotted with palm trees, source of the yearly festival in Erfoud. Dinner & accommodation at the hotel.
An optional jeep excursion to attend the sunrise over the sand dunes of Merzouga. Back to the hotel for breakfast and continuation to Rissani. Morning at leisure and at 11.00 departure to Essaouira for a fish lunch optional at a local restaurant. Visit of this idyllic fishermen town known as the former Mogador and Portuguese stronghold, famous for its woodcarving handicraft. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Departure to Safi, also a former Portuguese fortress and famous for its pottery. After the visit, continuation to Oualidia via the picturesque coastal road. Lunch optional at a local restaurant in El Jadida with view on its superb
bay. Visit of El Jadida, including the famous citadel, a reminder of the Portuguese occupation during the 16 th century. Continuation to Casablanca for dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
