Grand Tour of Morocco 11days/10n from Casablanca every Saturday

- Arrival to Casablanca Mohamed V Airport. Welcoming and assistance by Restinga Travel staff. Brief review of the tour during the transfer to the hotel. Check in, dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Visit of the economic capital of Morocco : the central market, the Habous district, the Royal palace, Mohammed V square, the residential area of Anfa and the outside of the Hassan II mosque. Fish lunch optional at one of the seafront restaurants. Continuation to Rabat, city tour including the Royal palace (Mechouar), the Kasbah Oudaya, the Mohammed V mausoleum and Hassan Tower. Dinner & accommodation at the hotel.

Departure to Meknes the Ismalian capital famous for its 40Km long walls, visit of Bab El Mansour, the Royal stables and the Jewish quarter. After lunch optional, continuation to the holy city of Moulay Idriss, via the ruins of the Roman city of Volubilis, then continuation to Fez. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

The whole day is devoted to the sightseeing of Fez, the religious capital of Morocco. Visit of the medieval Medina and its Attarine, Bou Inania Medersas, the Nejjarine fountain and Karaouine mosque. Moroccan lunch optional at a traditional restaurant in the Medina. Afternoon, visit of Fez Jdid. Dinner & accommodation at the hotel.

Departure to Erfoud via the mountains and the cedar woods of the Middle Atlas, passing by Ifrane, a charming ski resort, and Azrou, an important handicraft center. Stop in Midelt for lunch optional. Continuation to Erfoud via Errachidia and the Ziz valley, dotted with palm trees, source of the yearly festival in Erfoud. Dinner & accommodation at the hotel.

An optional jeep excursion to attend the sunrise over the sand dunes of Merzouga. Back to the hotel for breakfast and continuation to Rissani. Visit of the Kasbah of the 17 th century and the Ksar Abbar ruins before continuation to Tinghir via the Tinjdad road. Visit of the magnificent Todgha canyons. Lunch optional at a restaurant located at the feet of the canyons and departure to the Dades canyons for a visit. Continuation to Ouarzazate via the road of the 1000 Kasbahs and the Dades valley. Arrival in Ouarzazate for dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Visit of the Kasbahs Taourirt, Tiffeltout and finally the Kasbah of AitBenhaddou, the most spectacular fortress in the South of Morocco, which has served as décor for many films like ‘Lawrence of Arabia Lunch optional at the terrace of the restaurant facing the Kasbah. Departure to Marrakesh via the Tizin’Tichka pass offering an impressive landscape in the heart of the Atlas mountains. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

The entire day will be devoted to the visit of Marrakesh, the second oldest Imperial city. The city was founded by the Almoravides at the end of the 11th century. The historical sightseeing includes the Menara garden, the Saadian tombs the Bahia palace & the Koutoubia Menaret . Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon, visit of the souks and handicraft quarters displaying a variety of items and the famous place Djemâa El Fna. Dinner with fantasia optional. Accommodation at the hotel.

Morning at leisure and at 11.00 departure to Essaouira for a fish lunch optional at a local restaurant. Visit of this idyllic fishermen town known as the former Mogador and Portuguese stronghold, famous for its woodcarving handicraft. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Departure to Safi, also a former Portuguese fortress and famous for its pottery. After the visit, continuation to Oualidia via the picturesque coastal road. Lunch optional at a local restaurant in El Jadida with view on its superb bay. Visit of El Jadida, including the famous citadel, a reminder of the Portuguese occupation during the 16 th century. Continuation to Casablanca for dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to Casablanca Mohamed V Airport with assistance.
